DISCUSSION
- Participants discuss the roles religious leaders and the media play in perpetuating negative stereotypes of the role of women in society (see Discussion Questions).
- Optional (for use with Adding Faith Quotes activity): The facilitator leads a discussion of the use of the additional fatih quotes in religious preaching.
CONCLUSION
Option 1: Participants commit to share positive examples of religious leaders or the media promoting positive stereotypes of the role of women in society with others through social media or other available means.
Option 2: Participants commit to share their religious or belief quote from Exercise 1 and its application to women, girls, and gender equality with family, friends, or community members.
